Adult Cricket

At senior level we run 3 successful senior teams playing across several formats, including T20 Cricket, 50 Overs, 45 Overs and 40 Over games.

Training and Practice

Our Senior practice every Tuesday evening from 6:15pm onwards during the season, with additional sessions on Thursday evenings at 6:15pm. The club also holds pre-season training before the start of each season for new and existing players to get involved in.

When We Play

T20 Cricket Tuesday or Friday evenings starting at 6:30pm

50 Over Cricket – 1st XI – Saturdays during the season starting between 12:30pm & 1:30pm, with cup games played on Sundays.

45 Over Cricket – 2nd XI – Saturdays during the season starting between 12:30pm & 1:30pm, with cup games played on Sundays.

40 Over Cricket – 3rd/Development XI – Sundays during the season starting between 12:30pm & 1:30pm pm.

Junior Cricket

Our junior section boasts 4 junior teams playing pairs cricket at U9s & U11s, then progressing to 20 Over cricket at U13s & U15s age groups.

All Stars Cricket

Following the tremendously successful All Stars program at Atherton Cricket Club over several years the club runs a successful formal 8-week program in association with the ECB for boys & girls aged 5-9 starting in May each year.  Either side of the All Stars program the club holds addition sessions for children of All-Star ages focusing on core cricket skills whilst learning and having fun.  All sessions are conducted by ECB and All Star fully qualified caches giving our parents the peace of mind and assurance that Atherton is the perfect environment to introduce your child to the game of cricket.

Training and Practice

Our under 9s and All Stars practice evert Friday evening from 6:15pm onwards during the season.
Our under11s and under 13s practice every Monday evening from 6:15pm onwards during the season. The club also holds comprehensive pre-season training program before the start of each season for new and existing players to get involved in, including participation in indoor tournaments.

When we play

Under 9’s           – Monday & Friday nights 6:15pm start

Under 11’s         – Wednesday nights 6:15pm start

Under 13’s         – Sunday Mornings 9:30pm start

Under 15’s         – Monday nights 6:15pm start

Atherton Cricket Clubs mission is to provide cricketing opportunities for all members of the community regardless of age, ability, or gender.
